AIR LIQUIDE SCGI   

• Air Liquide has been in Congo since 1950.

• In 1966, the ‘Société Congolaise des Gaz Industriels’ (SCGI) (Congolese Industrial Gas Company) was formed.

• In April 1974, Air Liquide merged with SCGI and they are still one company today.

• AIR LIQUIDE-SCGI is based in the Km4 Industrial Zone at n° 4, la rue Moutou-Lieno, at Pointe-Noire with a capital of 396 000 000 F.CFA.

• In 2001, the company achieved ABS certification, then ISO 9001 version 2000 in 2007.

• IMS : An industrial management system integral to our organisation that was rolled out in 2006 to make our industrial processes safer and more reliable, to comply with regulations and to develop the skills of our technical personnel.

• AIR LIQUIDE-SCGI’s activities cover Angola and propose to include the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC).

• There are 45 people on the staff, 9 are female.
